S&G’s Pepperrell Cove wedding in September was more than just a wedding day celebration—it was an entire weekend filled with everything they love about Portsmouth and Maine. Since Portsmouth is where they’ve made their home, they wanted to share all the things the area has to offer with their friends and family, and they planned a celebration that showed off the best of local businesses.

The weekend started with a boat ride on the Gundalow out of Portsmouth for S&G's wedding party. We popped some bubbly and had a spread of food from Mezzanine catering. The Gundalow showcased Portsmouth harbor and some of the coastal gems we have in the area. Their private rehearsal dinner at Black Trumpet was intimate and full of incredible food, perfectly setting the tone for the weekend ahead. For their welcome welcome party at Book & Bar, guests were greeted with live music, amazing coffee, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Throughout each event, S&G had personalized touches that made the weekend feel intentional.

When the big day arrived, S&G said “I do” at The View at Pepperrell Cove. With its oceanfront backdrop and laid-back coastal vibe, it was the perfect setting for their celebration. They brought in local vendors to make the day even more personal and gifted guests custom handmade mugs.

From start to finish, S&G’s wedding weekend was full of meaningful moments, good food, and that unmistakable New England charm. It was a beautiful way to celebrate their marriage and share a place that means so much to them.

Glowing - this is a glowing review! We hired Lauren for our wedding weekend and she did an incredible job as our coordinator. Our wedding was a marathon, not a sprint, and we knew we needed someone to take the reins. We were excited to have a partner who understood our vision, everything from brass tacks goals to dream wedding scenarios, Lauren understood our wishlist and executed it fully. Lauren was a stellar ally throughout, she was reliable and a joy have around.

Lauren has impeccable intuition and an ability to steady the course, she is a charming addition to any wedding weekend. She asked the right questions as we prepped, brought a balanced energy to the big weekend and was down for all the varieties of support that a wedding can call for.
