C&K’s coastal wedding in Rye, NH, was an absolute dream to plan. As their NH wedding planner, I had the honor of working with them for 20 months to bring their vision to life—helping them tackle all the details of planning from Washington, DC. For C, Rye wasn’t just another pretty location—it was home. The area held so much meaning for her, so we leaned into that nostalgia by teaming up with local businesses and incorporating what was fresh and in season on the seacoast in August. It made everything feel so personal and authentic.

Their blue and white theme was the perfect nod to the oceanfront setting—timeless, fresh, and elegant. From the gorgeous tablescapes to locally inspired details, everything came together just right. Add in perfect weather, and you’ve got a wedding day straight out of a New England postcard. Guiding C & K through the entire planning process was such a privilege. From picking the best vendors to designing all the little details, it was amazing to see their dream day come to life.

A Little Love Note

Working with Lauren Wilson Events was the best decision we made regarding our wedding planning process. I could go on forever about how lovely Lauren is as a person, and she truly is the most gifted wedding coordinator! When we first started wedding planning, we met with other coordinators and felt like we were just another meeting on their calendar.
